Iconic CoD map Grind has returned in Black Ops 6 Season 2 Reloaded, and it’s hiding a sneaky Tony Hawk teaser that hints at an announcement very soon.
The Black Ops 6 Season 2 Reloaded update has arrived, bringing the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles crossover and plenty of weapon balancing changes. On top of all that, it also introduces some new maps — including Grind.
This iconic map was first seen back in 2012’s BO2 where it became a fan-favorite, before returning in BO4 six years later. It features a unique setting that’s a far cry from the ruined battlegrounds the series is used to, as it takes place on a skatepark complete with ramps and rails.

Tony Hawk Pro Skater announcement revealed in BO6
If you head inside the shop area found in the map, you’ll spot a sign on the back wall reading “03.04.25.” Based on the way it’s written, it’s clearly referring to an important date.

Announcement on March 4. 👀 pic.twitter.com/8efl6Qansl
The skater series has been quiet since Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 + 2 in 2021, a remake of the first two games from 1999 and 2000. However, there have been plenty of rumors from both leakers and pro skateboarders that a new entry in the series could be in development.
This is the clearest indication so far to come from an official source, given that Activision is the publisher of both Call of Duty and THPS.
There’s not much else we can glean from the sign at this stage. It’s unclear whether the announcement will be related to another remake, a brand-new game in the series, or something else entirely, but it seems we won’t have to wait too long to find out.
